Cozy croft from the middle of the mid 1800s in the wilderness of Scania!

The cottage is situated outside the small village of Hökön between Älmhult and Lönsboda in an undisturbed location with no close neighbors. Here there is a well-preserved forest environment with great biological diversity, which means good opportunities for mushroom- and berry picking and a good chance to see wild animals. Among other things, we have had visits from moose, deer, fox, marten and lynx on the farm. A short drive away are both Vyssle and Västermyr and Vakö mire with exciting nature and animal life.

With about 1 mile to both Älmhult and Lönsboda, there are opportunities for many pleasant activities, for example the Black Mountains, the IKEA museum and Möckelsnäs. There are nice swimming and fishing lakes in both Älmhult and Lönsboda, and more nearby there is also the possibility of swimming in quarry lakes.

About the cottage:
Hall: Small hall with shoe shelf and coat hanger
Living room: Sofa bed, armchairs, TV with channels 1,2 and 4 and chrome cast. Board games and toys are available.
Bedroom 1: Double bed (160 cm), dresser and small cupboard.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds (80 cm) and small dresser.
Kitchen: Modern well-equipped kitchen. Dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer. Dining area for up to 8 people (table with insert plate)
Bathroom: Simpler bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
Balcony: Large balcony with table and chairs. Nice view towards forest and a small pond.
Garden: Large forest plot. Trampoline and outdoor toys are available.

The tenant brings his own sheets and towels. Sheets and towels can also be rented for a fee of SEK 100 per set.
The tenant is responsible for cleaning before departure. Departure cleaning can also be booked for a fee of SEK 1,500.
