Låbynstugan – top condition (sauna)

Forest and grassland surrounding the nearly one hundred year old cottage that was renovated to top condition in 2014. Låbynstugan is situated on its own but is part of Låbyns Farm. A farm with relics from the Stone Age. Current owner Mats and Lena are happy to show around and talk about both the cottage, the farm and the surrounding area.

It features a sauna with a beautiful location on the creek that flows past, absolutely perfect for a relaxing evening. This rented extra.

The cabin is located in the forests edge with good views over a valley with grazing cows. The paths in the surrounding area are well marked and trodden. Within walking distance are both the bathing lake and small secluded pond in the woods. The vigilant have good opportunities to see moose, fox and deer and, rarely, lynx and wolf.

Autumn offers mushrooms, berries, winter in proximity to the ski slopes and cross country trails. The silence and the atmosphere all year round.

Laxarby is located along the road 164, 8 km east of Bengtsfors, 30 km west of Åmål. Turn off at Laxarby football ground against "Hugnereud". Run a mile and then turn left towards Solvik. The first House on the right side is Låbynstugan.
