Torpet i Sjo, nice house with individual location

Comfortable Torpet (the croft) is situated high on a mountain within walking distance to the lovely Dämstasjön (lake). With a completely unobstructed location you can enjoy the morning coffee on the porch.
Inside you will have a cozy time beside the fireplace in the livingroom, in the kitchen you are listening to the fire in the woodstove. There are also two heating fans (and electrical radiators) that gives a warm house the year around.
At the forest edge is a wood-fired sauna, right next to a unique waterfall, candy for both eyes and ears. You have the amazing High Coast nearby but you are living in a very calm and quiet place. The perfect getaway!
The house is also perfect for fishing vacation as there is plenty of fine fishing water in the area

During the season you harvest in the garden. For dinner you may have pulled up a trout in one of the fishing waters. You eat it inside the rural kitchen or out in the garden (here are garden furniture, a barbecue area and a glazed small house with dining furniture). Or why not fill the picnic basket and go down to the lake! There is a bathing area, a sauna and a nice little boat.

Here are nice walking paths, berry and mushroom fields and there is also plenty of fishing water.

During your stay in Sjö we be happy to show you the farms sheep and sometimes a herding dog in work. If you are really lucky you can see some of the forest's mooses, even more luck is needed to see ”Näcken” play his violin in the river.

Comfortable
The house offers a genuine old-fashioned feel, is in good condition, comfortable and fully equipped. You can rent all time of the year. There is a kitchen, living room, toilet and large hall downstairs, a bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. There is also a sleeping alcove with a bed, and a bed in the inner part of the living room. If you need extra beds we´ll arrange it.
Washing and dishing machines makes everyday life easier and in the bathroom there is a shower.

House rules:
No smoking.
The house is not rented out as a party house, only for vacation and work.
No fireworks are allowed, because of the animals on the farm and in the surroundings.

Torpet is located in Ångermanland in Sweden, close to the High Coast, about 100 km from Örnsköldsvik and 140 km above Sundsvall. The closest community is Nyland, the nearest city of Kramfors.
Torpet is located about 10 km from Höga Kusten Airport (airport). Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged.
