Renovated, tastefully furnished and fully equipped house in minimalistic Scandinavian style located only 25 min north of Kalmar. Steps away from swimming and boating. Lovely country side with the neighborhood cows across the street.

Bring your morning coffee with you out on the porch and wake up to the birds while you take in the views of Kalmar Sound. Position yourself right and you could see all the way over to Öland (the island) and Borgholm.

Kalmar with its many historic sites, including the Kalmar Castle, also offers an amazing amount of restaurants and pubs for its size as well as shopping. The Kingdom of Glass incl KostaBoda and Orrefors a 45 drive. Or take the 3 hr ferry to

Visby on Gotland to experience Medieval times. The area is ideal for canoers, bikers and hikers.

Lovely cross country skiiing or skating on the sound. Go ice fishing during the winter and make it a day out with the family. Whether crossing between the small islands along the coast or taking it to

Alsterån (creek for swimming, boating and fishing) or a bit further to Emån. Golfing is offered in Mönsterås (13 km) as well as Kalmar (Värsnäs – 30 km).

This winterized home features a brand new fully loaded modern full height birch kitchen and an adjoining dining area seating 8-10 people in front of three large floor-to- ceiling windows. On rainy days, turn around and enjoy the cast iron stove (kamin). New appliances in stainless steel including the dishwasher.

Tastefully decorated BATHROOM offering an extra large shower area with design glass door. Separate laundry room from the other entrance where washer and dryer are available.

The LIVING ROOM is comfortable and generous in size with many large windows toward the east and south, and an Android TV with integrated chromecast.

Over sized DECK facing south/east with direct access from the living room. Tables/chairs for 10 people and large barbecue grille. It wraps around to a smaller furnished porch, facing east, thus getting the morning sun.

BED ROOM #1 has a double bed and a daybed. BED ROOM #2 has two extra wide (105 cm) single beds. BED ROOM #3 has a bucket bed for two people.

All bedding including pillows and comforters.

You may bring your own bed sheets and towels or rent it at 150 SEK/person and stay.

Mandatory for the guest to clean the house prior to department according to a cleaning checklist. (Cleaning service is available as additional option most weeks)

Driving Directions coming from the South
v Take E:22 north.
v After Rockneby about 25 km north of Kalmar (after signs for Kåremo and Ljungnäs), make a right at exit sign “Pataholm”.
v Make a left off the exit. You are now on Pataholmsvägen.
v Make a right at the sign for ”Korpemåla S” (that’s the road to the cottage).
v Please remember to drive sloooowly to upset the locals ?.
v The cottage is located about 400 mtrs down on the right hand side. Look for number 910 and black house.
v Park on property – there is a parking pocket to left of drive way.

Driving Directions coming from the North
v Take E:22 south.
v Pass Oskarshamn, Mönsterås, Timmernabben.
v When you see a sign for Ålem, continue on E:22 until you see a Preem gas station on your right hand side and a sign for Ålem – make a left off the E:22 toward Pataholm
v You are now on Pataholmsvägen.
v Pass Strömsrum on your left and continue through Pataholm and Patamalm
v From E:22 it is about 6 km to the cottage
v Pass your first sign for Korpemåla N (for North) - continue
v Make a left at ”Korpemåla S” (that’s the road to the cottage)
v Please remember to drive sloooowly to upset the locals ?.
v The cottage is located about 400 mtrs down on the right hand side. Look for number 910 and brown house.
v Park on property – there is a parking pocket to the left of drive way.
