The cottage is located by Lake Lakenesjön in Värmland, one of the larger lakes in Hagfors municipality (approx. 9 km²). The lake is known for good fishing and includes species such as perch, pike, whitefish (sik), bream, roach, burbot and periodically stocked trout.
Fishing permits can easily be purchased via (Lakenesjöns FVOF).
The lake offers clear water, good swimming conditions and a calm, private environment without crowds.
