It's secluded without being isolated – there are neighboring houses. The lush yard is framed by ancient oaks and apple trees, and the hammock is the perfect place to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. Upstairs in the loft, you’ll sleep well with forest air drifting through mosquito-protected windows.

In addition to the quiet countryside atmosphere – with horses, meadows, and rich wildlife – you'll find swimming in Åbyfjorden within walking distance, as well as freshly baked bread and pastries from the local stone oven bakery, and shopping at the countryside boutique Butiken på Landet.

In the evenings, enjoy your meals on the sun deck while listening to the silence – or perhaps the call of a tawny owl. If you're lucky, an elk might wander into the garden.
