Lilla toppstugan - Hilltop Cabin w/ Lake View

This is the cabin for the nature enthusiast who appreciates peace, wildlife and rich natural surroundings!
Here, you can recharge your batteries and spend time in the forest and countryside, fish and swim in the lake, and gaze into the flames of the fire.

The area is fantastic, with abundant wildlife and opportunities for hiking in the forest, picking mushrooms and berries, as well as swimming or fishing in the forest lake. At dusk, beavers sometimes swim by in the lake. The cabin has everything you need for beautiful days and lots of outdoor living.

Lovely cabin with a large wooden terrace facing south and a wonderful view of the lake – with outdoor furniture, a kettle grill, and an open fire pit. You can enjoy the morning sun on the small front porch and on a small patio with a view of the forest.

Spacious bedroom with a 140 cm wide double bed, two wardrobes, and an east-facing window. Pillows and duvets are provided, but please bring your own bed linens. If you have 1–2 small children, you may bring your own travel crib.

The kitchen has two hotplates, an oven, a fan, a microwave, and a fridge with freezer compartment. Dishes are washed by hand, and the water heater heats 5 liters at a time. Kitchenware for at least 4 people is available. Please bring your own dish towels and bath towels. You can also brush your teeth and wash your face and hands in the kitchen!

Outdoor shower (with the possibility of hot water).

Fire bowl may be used cautiously and only if open fires are allowed (check the fire risk app!).

Private jetty with a ladder (shared only with the host and only if we are there), with great swimming in the lake among white and yellow water lilies.

Rowboat with oars available, no extra charge
Life jackets can be borrowed in available sizes: 80–100 kg, 90+ kg, 70++ kg, 40–60 kg, 30–50 kg, two in 30–40 kg, and 15–30 kg.

Fishing in the forest lake (buy a digital fishing license) – perch and pike.

The only neighbor is the host’s house – located down the hill with no direct contact.

Guests clean before departure. Cleaning supplies are available.
Dishes must be washed and put away in the cupboard.
All trash should be placed in the garbage bin, except recyclables, which should be taken to a recycling station (e.g., in Bengtsfors).

No parties, bachelorette/bachelor events, or similar allowed!
