At the end of a forest road, just a stone’s throw from Skuleskogen National Park, lies this renovated Ångermanland farmhouse. The only sounds you’ll hear are the rustling of the trees, birdsong, and possibly the distant roar of the Dalsjö Waterfall, located about a kilometer away. Here, you’ll be staying right in the heart of the High Coast, with a perfect base for exploring all the area’s attractions.
There is plenty of space for a large family or a group of friends—perhaps even two families traveling together. The house is spacious and functional, with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and two bathrooms. A tiled stove and two fireplaces add to the cozy atmosphere. The vibe in the house is warm and inviting, with a touch of nostalgia.
The beds are spread across five bedrooms, two of which are adjoining:
1. Room “Pigkammaren”: one double bed
2. Room “Olleto”: two single beds
3. Room “Krypbäcken”: two bunk beds and one single bed
4+5. Room “Dalsjöforsen”: one double bed, plus an adjoining room with two single beds
You can walk straight from the house onto trails that lead into the national park. The High Coast Trail (Höga Kustenleden) passes about 1 km from the house.
About 10 minutes away by car, you’ll find Skuleberget, the visitor center Naturum, the outdoor village Friluftsbyn, and the town of Docksta with a grocery store and boat connections to Ulvön. Also around 10 minutes away is Veåsand seaside campsite with a restaurant and a beach. The house is secluded yet located right in the middle of the High Coast.
A warm welcome!
