Falken Mountain Lodge () is a private mountain home in Björnen, Åre, the peaceful and family-friendly side of Sweden’s largest ski destination.

What you rent is a private, thoughtfully designed apartment of approximately 90 square metres, featuring three separate bedrooms, a private sauna, fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen accommodating up to six guests.

The property offers true ski-in/ski-out access. A short walk or ski of approximately 150 metres connects you to the groomed trail leading to Björnen village centre (around 2 minutes), the Björnen lift (around 4 minutes), and onward to the entire Åre ski system. Returning home is equally convenient, following the marked route from the Copperhill lift directly back to the house. Björnen offers ski school and ski rental facilities, while restaurants such as Lilla Tyrolen, Copperhill and Sadeln are all nearby. When the snow melts, the area transforms into a destination for hiking, trail running, downhill biking and cycling, with direct access to Åre’s mountain landscape.

The apartment is located on the ground floor with a private entrance and includes three bedrooms (two double beds and one bunk bed), two toilets, a south-west-facing terrace with views of the mountains and Lake Åre, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and private parking with EV charging.

The location is approximately 3 minutes by car or a 15-minute walk from Björnen village centre.

Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels can be ordered as an optional extra.

Minimum stay: 3 nights during ski season, 2 nights during the rest of the year.

Perfect stay in Åre! The cabin is beautifully arranged, fireplace and sauna are 🔥 and we cannot get over the amazing floor to ceiling view of the mountains & lake from living area. It was like staring at living art every day. Would 100% book again for our next stay. Also, the owners provided an invaluable guide to the cabin as well as the ski & local area - it was basically a PDF concierge with all the info we needed for our first time in Åre. Thank you so much for the opportunity to borrow your home for the week!
