Charming cottage with lake view and forest walks – An idyllic getaway
Welcome to our turn-of-the-century cottage, located by a quiet lake to the north and surrounded by beautiful forest to the south. Here you will find peace and quiet in a unique environment, perfect for those looking for a place to relax. The house is located at the end of the road. Fish from the boat or enjoy nature with a glimpse of the majestic white-tailed eagle or osprey. No one lives in the other houses on the property while you are here.
The cottage
The charming cottage has a spacious veranda, hall, fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer, iron and washing machine and a living room with beautiful views. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, where you pass the first to get to the second. Each room has two beds, which provides plenty of space for rest.
Guest cottage
The croft also includes a cozy guest cottage of 35 square meters, with a kitchenette equipped with stove, refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle plus a dining area. The cottage has a toilet, sink and a veranda with sunset views of the lake. There is also a sleeping loft on the upper floor with four beds. The guest cottage can be rented together with the croft if desired.
Patio and activities
Take advantage of the lovely patio with outdoor kitchen, grill, seating areas and running water - perfect for meals in the open air. For those who want to take a refreshing dip, there is an outdoor shower with solar-heated water. Boats are available for rent. Kayaks and canoes are available for loan.
Practical information
• The tenant is asked to bring their own sheets and towels and clean before departure.
• Check-in and check-out take place at the house, where we meet for a smooth inspection.
• Bookings are made Saturday to Saturday or by agreement. Arrival at the earliest at 15:00, departure at the latest at 11:00.

Unser Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen! Das kleine Häuschen ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für einen gelungenen Schwedenurlaub. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet wirklich alles, was man für eine erholsame Zeit braucht. Der See liegt direkt vor der Tür – schöner kann man es kaum haben. Auch das Boot befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe und lädt zu entspannten Ausfahrten ein.
Die Umgebung ist ideal zum Wandern und Entdecken. Wenn man einmal Abwechslung vom ruhigen Naturidyll sucht, bieten sich tolle Ausflugsziele an: der Elchpark in Ed, der beeindruckende Wasserfall Elgafossen, Shopping in Uddevalla oder ein Besuch des Kanals in Vänersborg. Langweilig wird es hier garantiert nicht. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die Begegnungen mit dem Damwild direkt in der Nähe des Hauses – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!
Alles in allem: Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen, Natur genießen und Neues entdecken. Wir können einen Aufenthalt hier wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in dem Haus verbracht und wären gerne noch eine Woche länger geblieben. Die Lage ist einmalig schön. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war sehr herzlich und es wurden alle wichtigen Details persönlich erklärt. Sep.2025 Mario & Anja

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub hier verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was für den Alltag nötig ist. Auch mit Kaffeemaschine und Waffeleisen. Gerade Ersteres war in der Beschreibung nicht ersichtlich. Direkter Zugang zum See mit Boot, inkl. toller Tierwelt vor der Haustür. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und alles lief problemlos und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist etwas älter und bekam daher seinen Charm für uns. Die letzten 3km führen durch einen Feldweg in den Wald hinein, dieser ist etwas ruckelig. Wenn man langsam fährt jedoch gut machbar. Der nächste Supermarkt und oder Einkauszentrum sind ca. 1/2h entfernt. Angeln am See ist gut möglich, gerade mit dem Boot. Die ab 17 Jahren benötige Lizenz, haben wir bei iFiske gekauft. Wir haben Hecht, Zander und Barsch gefangen. Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei Karina und Thomas. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Das Haus liegt, am Ende des Weges, auf einem wunderbaren Grundstück. Wir haben uns dort wirklich wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Außendusche war an den warmen Tagen sehr erfrischend. Der See lädt zum Kanu fahren ein.
