The old Fältasgården by Lake Kalvsjön

Welcome to a relaxing stay in our log house dating back to the 19th century yet fully furnished with modern amenities. Gamla Fältasgården is a dovetailed farm from the mid-19th century and is located in the small village of Nor, about 10km outside Järvsö. The house is just over 165m² with a new extension of about 25m². The farm has 2 floors with 5 berths downstairs and 6 berths upstairs. The house is fully equipped for year-round living.

Downstairs there is an entrance hall, kitchen, 1 bedroom with 2 fixed bunk beds, 1 bedroom with a single bed, a large living room with a fireplace and a new extension of about 20m² with a bathroom, a large hall, and a large patio of about 20m² with comfortable stairs to the garden. Upstairs there is a hall with a TV, 2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 cat lofts/rugs with a single bed each.
Wifi and TV are available via Telia with various channels. The kitchen has an induction cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and an old wood stove that we use ourselves when we stay in the house. There are 2 toilets, one of which is in a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and a washing machine/dryer. The plot is over 5,000m² and is used in the summer for various games and games on the lawns and to rest in our hammocks, which we set up next to our apple trees.

The back has morning sun and is a popular place for breakfast and lunch on the large patio. The front with the porch is often used for lunch and dinner and coffee breaks. At the front there is a barbecue area with 2 fireplaces. Firewood is available in the Main House and outside the Stables. The house is connected to a water association with neighbouring houses and the association also has a sauna (only used in summer) and piers and a small beach down by the lake that guests can use. Our guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases and towels. Normally, cleaning is done before departure. If you wish to have cleaning assistance, we will arrange it for you at an extra cost.
