An oasis in the beech forest

Welcome to Harpan.
We are so happy that you have chosen to stay in our beautiful cottage in the middle of the beech forest on Linderödsåsen. The cottage is a small oasis with a view of a cow pasture with a nice covered veranda. Our cottage is located in a beautiful natural environment and is available for rent for shorter and longer periods.
The Skåneleden trail passes by the house, so there are fantastic hiking trails to explore.

There are many beautiful beech forests around the house to take long walks in, and during mushroom season there are lots of mushrooms in the forests.

The sea and the Friseboda nature reserve with kilometers of white sandy beaches are a 30-minute drive away.
If you want to go to Österlen and Kivik, it takes 40 minutes by car. Malmö and Copenhagen are an hour to an hour and a half away.

The nearest shop is our local Linas country store in the village of Killhult, 4 km away.
The village of Önneköp is located 11 km south. Here you will find Arnold's Kannibal Museum, Häxans hus, Skåne's best Thai food, flea market, nice country store and the shop and café Färg från förr.

The cottage
1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 walk-through room with a sofa bed, living room with sofa bed, fireplace and stove, dining table, kitchen with induction hob, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, kettle, oven, microwave, toilet and shower, private terrace with roof, outdoor kitchen with charcoal grill and view of the cow pasture, Playstation and projector for your own movie nights.

Air heat pump, Electric heater, Stove and fireplace

Dishwasher and washing machine
Feel free to use, but not at the same time as they are on the same fuse.
Leave the dishwasher open when you leave Harpan

Sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers
Bed linen is only included by arrangement.
Put used linen in the laundry basket when you leave Harpan.

Waste management
We have 4 bins where you can sort your waste during and after your stay.

Cleaning
- Cleaning
You clean Harpan thoroughly after your stay.
This means: Empty the rubbish, vacuum the entire cottage, wet mop the floors, wipe down used surfaces, clean the fridge, sort out the dishes, clean the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room and on the terrace. Empty the stove of ashes if you have been burning.
You leave the cottage in the same condition as when you arrived.
It costs 1000 SEK extra for cleaning if you do not clean yourself as required by airbnb.

Self-catering
You bring what you need, but you are welcome to use what is in the cottage. There is oil, basic spices, toilet paper, cleaning products, detergent and dishwashing detergent in Harpan.

Fire in the stove and fireplace
Firewood is included during September-April.

Smoking is prohibited indoors.

Wifi:
There is no wifi in the cottage.

Chromecast and projector:
Use your own mobile internet and connect chromecast to it.

Pet-friendly cottage
In Harpan, animals are welcome, this is good to know for those of you who are allergic to fur animals.

Directions:
Harphult is located in Hörby municipality. The nearest bus stop is Linderöd, the 1 between Malmö and Kristianstad goes here, which also stops in Hörby. Skånetrafiken offers local transport that is booked through Skånetrafiken from Hörby, then you can take a bus taxi all the way to Harpan.

To drive here, take road E22 with the Hörby exit, here you drive towards Killhult and then turn towards Älmhult. Signs then show the way to Harphult and our cottage is on the right side in the forest from the road.

You drive through the gate to our property, on the right side of the container. It is important that you use this entrance and exit.
