Welcome to our holiday home at Yttre Bodane!
The house is located high on a wooded plot approx. 150m from the shore of lake Vänern. A rowing boat with an small electric motor as well as a canoe and a simpler kayak are included. With these you can explore the archipelago of Yttre Bodane nature reserve, and maybe catch some perch or pike for the dinner table. If you prefer to stay on land, there are wonderful hiking trails which starts right behind the house and lead into the nature reserve. There are also good opportunities to pick blueberries and mushrooms when it is in season. Swimming from cliffs can be done anywhere, however, there is no real sandy beach nearby.
The house consists of a combined living room and kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed and wardrobes, one bedroom with a bunk bed and wardrobes and a loft with two single beds. Bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. On the patoi, facing west, there is a dining table and space for a barbecue. Excellent drinking water from own well. There live some more summer guests in the area that you have to show consideration for, but the house is at the end of the road with limited visibility to neighbors. It is approx. 150m to the nature bath where the canoes are located and approx. 300m to the boat harbor where the rowing boat is located. You take the equipment there by our wheelbarrow.

Electric car charging (at cost price SEK 2/kWh) can be arranged if you bring your own charging equipment. 240V/16A, 400V/16A connected to separate meter.
Broadcasted TV shows only Swedish channels. Chrome cast is installed on the TV.
Bring bed linen & towels.
You clean the house before departure. Cleaning equipment is available in the cabin.
Smoking indoors is not allowed, but you are welcome to bring a dog or cat.

The house is beautiful and flooded with light, and the two terraces allow you to sit in the sun at any time of day. The location on the hill with all-round views of nature is fantastic. Located right next to the nature reserve and close to the water, you can immediately start hiking, running, boating, and fishing. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and provide plenty of information and equipment. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again.

Härligt läge med fina omgivningar och fräsch, välutrustad stuga. Bra tillgång på fritidsaktiviteter med naturreservat utanför knuten, kanot, båt etc.
