Our 90 m² house is in Sjömärket by the guest harbour on Bohus-Malmön – right in the middle of everything. The fish shop and Hamnskjulet restaurant are 30 m away, Svea on the pier 75 m and the Konsum grocery 80 m. Three bedrooms (5 beds), deck and balcony with sun all day. Sjömärket's swim jetty with ladder and sun loungers is 3 minutes away. The island has rock bathing, shallow Pärlane beach and the coastal trail. The car ferry takes 5 minutes, then it's 10 minutes to Kungshamn and Smögen.
The house is 90 m² with three bedrooms and five beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a deck and a balcony with sun from morning to evening.
To the swim jetty: leave the house to the north and follow the path east towards the water. Then take the street south and the wooden walkway between houses 33 and 37 out onto the southernmost jetty in Sjömärket. There you'll find a swim ladder and sun loungers, about 3 minutes from the house. The jetty is shared with the neighbours in Sjömärket.
Our tips for Malmön (Eric grew up here):
• Sunset: walk to the west side of the island – the evenings there are magical.
• Swimming: Pärlane is shallow and perfect for kids, the diving tower is the teenagers' favourite, and there is rock bathing all around the island.
• Walk: Kuststigen, the coastal trail around the island, about 10 km past the old quarry and turquoise lagoons.
• Food: the fish shop 30 m away is fantastic, and so is Hamnskjulet. Svea is right on the pier.
• Tennis on a clay court (book in the Matchi app) and golf at Sotenäs GK, 27 holes.
• Rainy day: Nordens Ark and Havets Hus.
The whole house, deck and balcony, plus Sjömärket's shared swim jetty. Parking is on the lot between Konsum and the block – a parking permit is in the house. A boat berth is not included but can be arranged for a fee – just ask.
Bed linen and towels are not included – please bring your own. Cleaning is not included either. The house is our own home and sometimes we are the ones arriving after you – please leave it the way you would like to find it. Final cleaning can be ordered as an exception for SEK 2,000. Wifi via a 4G router. No pets. Minimum 3 nights.

Full week from approx. SEK 13,100 (September) and SEK 14,200 (June) up to approx. SEK 17,100 in early July. The weeks 27 June–4 July (SEK 14,500), 4–11 July (approx. SEK 17,100) and 8–22 August (approx. SEK 15,300 per week) are rented by the week only. Otherwise shorter stays are welcome: Sunday–Thursday or Thursday–Sunday, minimum 3 nights, e.g. June Sun–Thu approx. SEK 7,700 and Thu–Sun approx. SEK 6,450, September Sun–Thu approx. SEK 7,300 and Thu–Sun approx. SEK 5,800. Easter (Thu–Mon) SEK 6,900. May weekends from SEK 4,500. Christmas and New Year SEK 2,500/night, minimum 4 nights. Final cleaning is not included – guests clean themselves (cleaning can exceptionally be ordered for SEK 2,000). Contact us for the price of a specific week! Winter (November–March): SEK 1,100/night weekdays and SEK 1,600/night Friday–Saturday.
