Ekesberget Stugby is a small scaled holiday park within a walking distance of the beautiful village of Ekshärad. It is located on the mountain “Ekesberget”, with its impressive nature, scenic hiking trails and various winter sport possibilities. At our park you will find 17 cosy cabins, styled to retain their original 70’s character. Check into another world.

Relax, chill out and unwind

Imagine starting your day sitting on the porch looking at a beautiful sunrise, while having your favourite breakfast. Take a walk to the village of Ekshärad and visit the impressive church with its famous graveyard crosses. Optionally you can drink a cup of coffee on one of the terraces or enjoy a Swedish “dagens lunch”.

The fresh air and lovely smell of pine trees welcomes you to go outside. Pay attention to the world of nature while hiking up Ekesberget and exploring the waterfalls Brattfallet and Fämtfallet. Guests who are looking for more challenges can enjoy a big variety of activities, offered by one of our companions. Canoeing, mountain biking, guided wilderness tours, horse riding, fishing, you name it, we will do our very best to arrange it. If you are a second hand or vintage lover, make sure you visit the local “loppisar” (house sales). End up finding the vintage item you’ve always wanted. Don’t forget to visit the local moose farm. Join a guided moose tour and get to know the “royalty of the Swedish forest”.

Back in your cabin, make your favourite cake with fresh picked berries from the forest. Feel free to use one of our grill cabins to make a delicious diner, while the children climb the rocks around the park or have fun at one of the little playgrounds. What could be better than ending your day with a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire in a romantic cabin?

At our park you will find a laundry room, hot tub, grill houses and little playgrounds. The big rocks on our park are children’s favourite!
