Well equipped cottage in Sweden’s Provence

3 min to the sea you find a well equipped cottage by open fields and huge sky, 3 min to the quaint fishing village of Skillinge with restaurants and grocery store. A short car rides take you to Simrishamn, charming capital of Österlen with all services and shopping, to Kivik which treats apple cultivation as the French do wine, with golf courts, sandy white beaches.
The house has a private garden with garden furniture and a totally new wooden terrace on the other side of th house with lounge chairs to enjoy the sunset.

The space
One big room, with sitting space/sofa(opens up to additional bed) and well equipped kitchen, freshly and well renovated with original beams, a sleeping loft with big comfortable double bed, a freshly renovated bathroom with washing-machine, your own undisturbed garden space with garden furniture, easy parking and easy access, close to everything and yet undisturbed, real country living atmosphere.

Getting around
You can bike to the sea and around the neighbourhood, but you need a car for the rest. No public transport close to the house.


Your host
I am a well known Swedish writer, living in the big farmhouse turned space for writing workshops and cultural events next door. I am always available should problems arise or if you have questions about where to visit. I speak fluent Swedish, English and Hebrew and converse in Danish, Norwegian and Spanish.

Note:
The staircase leading to the sleeping loft is steep, not suitable for anyone with physical disabilities.

Directions:
Easily accessible on the road bewteen the town of Borrby and our closest village Gislöv.
Signs for ”Stjärnegården” shows the way. Only 8 min from Simrishamn
