Holiday cottage near Torsby
A cosy cottage in the rural valley of Vadjetorp, 10km north of Torsby and at 6km distance of ski-area and naturereserve Hovfjället. The house is situated at a sunny private site of 5000 m2, with meadow, yard and barns and a wooded hill
Torsby is situated in a 100km long valley, with rolling meadows, wide views, lakes and forests, which ends in the south at Karlstad (valley of Brocken and Fryken).
Lovely cottage:
- The 90 sqm cottage sits on a sunny private property of 5000 sq meters, with lawn, sheds
and wooded hill.
- Downstairs has a spacious livingroom, cosy kitchen, bedroom (single and double bed) and
simple bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Heating by hot air pump, electric
plates and woodstove. One 2-pers sofa bed in livingroom.
- Upstairs has a sleepingloft with 2 singlebeds which can be turned into doublebeds if so
desired. (max 3 adults or 4 children) and 1 singlebed.
- The house has just been renovated and redecorated
- Sunny meadow in front of house and behind the house.
Gorgeous countryside to enjoy:
- The area hosts lakes, with opportunity for swimming and fishing, a moose park, waterpark
in Sunne, hiking trails, mountainbike trails and the river Klarälv with two nearby waterfalls.
- The surrounding forest area is full of opportunities for mushroom and berry picking (when
the season allows)
- Torsby itself is a charming country town with supermarkets, shops, a tourist agency, indoor
pool with simple sauna and a hospital.
Abundance of outdoor activities in the neighbourhood:
- Light and heavy mountainbiking
- Year-round cross-country skiing in the ski-tunnel of Torsby
- Closeby (within 8 km) there are four different hiking areas with marked walks

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold med barna i Lillstugan en vecka i høstsemesteret! Stugan ligger i en lysning i skogen der man kan kjøre helt frem med bil. Den er i godt skikk, med store og fine rom med enkel, men smakfull og komfortabel innredning. Det finnes også et velfungerende og hurtig wi-fi, og en mysig åpen spis. Det er et romslig og fint soverom på første våningen + et loft med två sängar der man også kan sova (Litt bratt trapp opp). Utenfor stugan er det en stor åpen terrass med langbord og stolar, og en gressmatta. Utleier og vår lokale kontakt var veldig trevliga og hjelpsomme, og vi kan varmt anbefale et opphold i Lillstugan!
