The landscape on Östergarnslandet is truly special – with open fields, sea cliffs, ancient fishing huts, and winding trails along the coast. It’s ideal for both long hikes and short strolls. Fishing enthusiasts will also find plenty of great spots along the shore or out at sea.

📍 Directions to Rommunds:

When you drive off the ferry, turn right.

1. Follow the road uphill and go straight ahead at the first roundabout.

2. At the next roundabout, turn left.

3. Then turn right at the following roundabout toward Roma.

💡 Two large grocery stores are located around this roundabout if you need to shop.

4. Go straight through the small roundabout.

5. Stay on this road for about 20 km – you'll pass the town of Roma.

6. When you see signs for Katthammarsvik / Slite, turn left.

7. Drive until the road ends, then turn right.

8. After about 10 km, watch for a sign that says Gammelgarn 4 on the right – turn there.

9. Follow the road until it ends – you'll reach Gammelgarn Church.

10. Follow the signs to Rommunds Fårgård and then Butik (Farm Shop).

11. After a sharp bend, it’s the second farm on the left. Welcome!
