Welcome to rent our charming holiday home in Eksta, located on Gotland, a Swedish island. This cozy holiday cottage is ideal for a small family of up to four, looking for a relaxing holiday. The house is on a beautiful wooded plot, secluded along a quiet side road. Just a short 5 km drive to the beautiful seaside and the scenic nature reserve with Gotland's most enchanting coastline, this holiday home offers an optimal location for a relaxing stay.

Ekstakusten is located on Gotland's west coast, about 5 miles south of Visby, and offers a breathtaking view of Stora and Lilla Karlsö. The coastline stretches over 10 km along the sea and contains both beautiful sandy beaches and protected nature reserves. Nearby you will also find the picturesque fishing village of Djupvik and the renowned restaurant Djupvik Hotell.

Our holiday home, which is about 65 square meters in size, consists of three comfortable rooms:

Two cozy bedrooms, including one with a spacious double bed (2 persons) and a smaller bedroom with a family bed (2-3 small persons).
A well-equipped kitchen with a dining area for 4-6 people, in an open plan that connects to the living room, where you will also find a fireplace. From the living room, a door leads out to the spacious veranda, under cover, perfect for pleasant barbecue evenings.
A bathroom with toilet and shower.
The property is surrounded by a generous lawn that is perfect for various outdoor activities such as squash, volleyball, badminton and other games.

Our vacation rental is available with an exchange day on Sundays.

Tolle Überraschung, dass das Haus genauso war, wie auf der Website beschrieben. Sehr heimelige Atmosphäre durch besondere, alte und moderne Möbel und sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Küchenausstattung: absolut super. Bad: große, heiße Dusche. Schlafzimmer: sehr bequemes Doppelbett mit guter Matratze. Wohn-Esszimmer: hell, schön mit großer Terrasse und Garten. Kinderzimmer: schöne Etagenbetten. Ausstattung, Lage: top. Sauberheit: super gut. Fahrräder in der Garage. Dazu sehr unkomplizierte, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Atmosphäre im Haus ist eine perfekte Visitenkarte des Vermieterpaars. Unserem Hund gefiel der Garten besonders. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder, empfehlen das Haus nur bedingt weiter, um zum Wiederkommen auch eine Buchungschance zu haben 🙃😊. Wir haben das Häuschen im Sommer gemietet und wurden von den Gastgebern Pia und Wolfgang, die beide auch deutsch sprechen, herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Zimmeraufteilung perfekt und bietet Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Auch der Außenbereich bietet viel Platz. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist ländlich und ruhig. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, um den Süden der Insel zu entdecken. Aber auch in die Hauptstadt Visby ist es nicht weit. Die unmittelbare Landschaft ist ursprünglich und idyllisch, die Sonnenuntergänge an den hübschen, nicht stark frequentierten Stränden unvergesslich. Wir denken gern an unseren schönen schwedischen Sommer zurück und wünschen den Gastgebern nette Gäste, die sich bei ihnen hoffentlich genauso wohl fühlen wie wir.

Den här stugan hade allt det vi ville ha. Läget gjorde att det inte var långt till något av de ställen vi ville besöka. Tack till hyresvärdarna för ett trevligt bemötande. Vi återkommer gärna.

The house is spacious, cosy and well decorated. The owners are very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We were with our two children who enjoyed playing in the garden and jumping on the trampoline. Highly recommanded.
