Welcome to our holiday home in Eksta, Gotland!
Dreaming of a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature, close to the sea and the beautiful Gotland coastline? Then our little holiday home in Eksta might be just what you’re looking for.
The house is set on a leafy, wooded plot, tucked away along a quiet country lane. It’s a lovely place to unwind, enjoy the peace and leave everyday life behind. There’s plenty of room to play and relax, and just 5 km away you’ll find the sea and the spectacular coastline of Eksta.
Discover the beautiful Eksta coastline
Eksta is situated on the southwestern coast of Gotland, about 50 km south of Visby. This is one of the island’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, with breathtaking views of the islands of Stora and Lilla Karlsö, lovely beaches and protected nature reserves.
Don’t miss a visit to the charming little fishing village of Djupvik – perhaps combined with a delicious meal at Djupvik Hotell.
The house and garden
Our holiday home is approximately 65 m² and is ideal for a small family or a couple looking for a peaceful getaway.
Two cosy bedrooms: one with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a family bunk bed.
Open-plan kitchen and living room: a well-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) with a dining area for 4–6 people, connected to the living room with an open fireplace.
A covered veranda: perfect for leisurely breakfasts, lazy afternoons and cosy barbecue evenings.
Bathroom: with a toilet and shower.
The house is surrounded by a large lawn with plenty of space for outdoor games and activities. Bring your Kubb set, play badminton or volleyball – or simply do nothing at all and enjoy the tranquillity.

Tolle Überraschung, dass das Haus genauso war, wie auf der Website beschrieben.
Sehr heimelige Atmosphäre durch besondere, alte und moderne Möbel und sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Küchenausstattung: absolut super. Bad: große, heiße Dusche. Schlafzimmer: sehr bequemes Doppelbett mit guter Matratze. Wohn-Esszimmer: hell, schön mit großer Terrasse und Garten. Kinderzimmer: schöne Etagenbetten. Ausstattung, Lage: top. Sauberheit: super gut. Fahrräder in der Garage.
Dazu sehr unkomplizierte, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Atmosphäre im Haus ist eine perfekte Visitenkarte des Vermieterpaars.
Unserem Hund gefiel der Garten besonders.
Wir kommen sehr gern wieder, empfehlen das Haus nur bedingt weiter, um zum Wiederkommen auch eine Buchungschance zu haben 🙃😊.
Pia und Wolfgang haben großen Anteil an unserem super Gotland-Urlaub gehabt. Ihr Haus war unsere Basis für tolle Ausflüge.

Wir haben das Häuschen im Sommer gemietet und wurden von den Gastgebern Pia und Wolfgang, die beide auch deutsch sprechen, herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Zimmeraufteilung perfekt und bietet Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Auch der Außenbereich bietet viel Platz. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist ländlich und ruhig. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, um den Süden der Insel zu entdecken. Aber auch in die Hauptstadt Visby ist es nicht weit. Die unmittelbare Landschaft ist ursprünglich und idyllisch, die Sonnenuntergänge an den hübschen, nicht stark frequentierten Stränden unvergesslich. Wir denken gern an unseren schönen schwedischen Sommer zurück und wünschen den Gastgebern nette Gäste, die sich bei ihnen hoffentlich genauso wohl fühlen wie wir.

Den här stugan hade allt det vi ville ha. Läget gjorde att det inte var långt till något av de ställen vi ville besöka. Tack till hyresvärdarna för ett trevligt bemötande. Vi återkommer gärna.

Mysigt inredd stuga, perfekt för vår familj med två barn. Bra läge på ön för att ta sig runt. Ägarna var tillmötesgående. Väldigt nöjd!

The house is spacious, cosy and well decorated. The owners are very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We were with our two children who enjoyed playing in the garden and jumping on the trampoline. Highly recommanded.
