Timber smithy 1700 century

Beautifully situated former blacksmith´s workshop from the 1700-th century was restored in 2003.
Ste blacksmith´s is fit for living in during the winter, 42 m² in the countryside with an unobstructed view over fields the lake. 2 beds + 4 extra beds.

Löa is an active village with many events. In the village you will find a café, flea market, mini golf, football yard, hokey rink and training local with sauna. The old foundry is open every day for guiding tours during the summer.
In the forests close to the village are nice roads for walking and there are plenty of berries and mushrooms.
Close to the houses you can watch many raptors and water fowls. Not far from Löa there are golf courts in Lindesberg and Stjärnfors. Klacken is a leisure facility with indoor pool and downhill skiing
It´s not very far to the Luossa cottage where the Swedish poet Dan Andersson lived.
If you want to have a day tour trip you can visit Måltidens hus at Grythyttan The Mouse park at Kopparberg, Grimsö wildlife research institute or The Alfred Nobel museum . For downhill skiing in Säfsen or Romme Alpin there is a little more than one hour by car.


Directions:
Follow R50 from Örebro northwards ca 66 km passing Lindesberg, Guldsmedshyttan and Storå.
Ca 10 km north of Storå, immediately after the bridge, turn right to Ramsberg and Löa Hytta
Drive ca 1.5 km passing Åkafféet, Löa school and Löa Hytta.
After Löa Hytta there are fields on both sides of the road. Then there are red villas on both sides.
Turn right opposite the first villa. There are “30” sign posts. Follow the small road passing a red villa and a red farm. 50 m downhill choose the right road. Follow it further downhill towards two yellow houses = Uddnäs farm
To get to the blacksmith´s turn left and drive between the barns down to the lake.
