Welcome to a newly built house (2019) in Södvik. The house is modern and and fits you who want more than an ordinary vacation house. It has five rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a laundry. It's a big yard and in the front yard there is a porch with morning sun and in the back yard there in a porch with sun in the afternoon.

In Södvik you find Södviks bageri - a combined bakery and general store which also make great pizza. There you also find the local tavern Gamla Gästgivaregården. Södvik is a charming and calm village situated inbetween Borgholm and Böda. From Södvik you can easily reach several of the tourist attractions at Öland, such as Borgholm Castle, Solliden, Trollskogen, Lådbilslandet and Eketorps borg. In eastern Södvik there is also a bird sanctuary. Besides the beach in Sandvik there are several great beaches nearby.

You have to be more than 30 years old in order to rent the house.

A cot/crib is available if needed.

Towels and sheets are not included. But can be rented to an additional cost.

Final cleaning is not included.

Ett underbart nybyggt hus med mycket rymd i och en härlig känsla att vistas där. Fina stora sovrum samt allrum och två fina badrum så det var gott om plats för alla. Sängarna var mycket sköna. Fint och lugnt läge mitt i byn med närhet till bageri och gästgivargården. 3 km till havet och närmste matbutik. Ett ställe man gärna återkommer till. Mycket trevligt värdpar. Huset var jättefint och fräscht, och läget i trevliga Södvik var perfekt för oss. Fina och lugna omgivningar, och en härlig terrass som verkligen kom till användning. Det enda som drar ner betyget ett snäpp är att huset saknar luftkonditionering, vilket känns lite onödigt på ett nytt hus. Vi hade en solig och härlig vecka, men det medförde också temperaturer på ca 25-26 fuktiga grader inomhus på natten trots vädring. Så till nästa gång vi kommer tillbaka hoppas vi på att det installerats a/c eller luftavfuktare, eller åtminstone hyfsat tystgående bordsfläktar. Trots detta kan boendet verkligen rekommenderas. Bageriet och gästgivargården i Södvik (250 m promenad) var båda härliga att fika/äta på. Vi tackar för en fin vecka!
