Beautiful location with wonderful view of the lake Solgen! Very nice surroundings with forest roads for hiking, biking, mushroom, berry picking, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, etc. In winter: skiing, skating or ice fishing on lake Solgen. Enjoy the guiet and silence, and relaxing atmosphere. No traffic (road ends at the farm).
On a farm with animals (horses, rabbits, hen, cats, paddocks with horses and cows with electric wire close to the house). Fishing licenses are sold for part of lake Solgen (Mellby area), good fishing on pike, perch. Best time for fishing is May-June (due to water level).
Newly built sauna in direkt access to house, exklusive and private for guests. About 75 meters to the lake, rowing boat included for tours on lake Solgen, May-September. Bath area/beach for families in lake Solgen (4 km). We have kayaks for rent (one double kayak, two single-kayaks), lake Solgen is great for paddling kayak tours!
Excursions: Eksjö (Old Town) 20 km, Vetlanda (18 km) Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren´s theatre park) 65 km and the Kingdom of Crystal (100 km), Gränna / Visingsö 85 km. 18 km to grocery stores and shopping.

Genuine renovated house from 1934, fully equipped and good standard, for rent all year. The house is 69 m2 with 4 beds (+2 extra beds for children in a sofa bed), divided into three rooms and a kitchen area.
Living room: fireplace, sofa, TV (Swedish channels), DVD, radio and dining area. Bathroom: shower, toilet, washing machine.
Two bedrooms with two single beds and a double bed (160 cm). Glassed-in porch with dining area and lounge chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove (induction hob), refrigerator (190 liters), freezer (approximately 50 liters), full kitchen equipment. Garden furniture, grill, sandpit and toys for children. Baby bed and highchair available.
Free WIFI/internet access.
Bed linen and towels / bath towels can be rented for 200 SEK/person. Cleaning service at departure day can be booked for 1200 SEK (please book in advance). Pets are allowed in the cabin, but dogs MUST always be kept on a lead (horses, rabbits and hens nearby house).
Please no smoking inside or on the porch. The house is suitable for max 4 adults (and children i sofabed).
Boat engine (electric motor with battery) available for rent.
Fishing license, boat engine rental or any other services can be paid on arrival (preferably in cash SEK).
We recommend plenty of time to really relax and enjoy the holiday in Hammar - during summer season we make a priority for bookings of two weeks or longer. Other time of year rental period is a week or minimum two nights (weekend).
