Cosy log cabin on a small farm outside Nordmaling, conveniently located near the E4 between Umeå and Örnsköldsvik.

The cabin sleeps up to 3 guests and includes one bedroom, a sofa bed, a kitchen, and a shower and toilet. Enjoy a peaceful rural setting, with sheep and chickens right outside.

It is an excellent choice for families with children, couples, or anyone looking for a place to stay for a few nights while travelling through northern Sweden. The cabin is close to nature, day trips, and swimming spots, while remaining easily accessible from the E4.

Barbeque facilities – A fire pit is available just outside the cabin, with firewood provided for your use.
Dogs are welcome – Dogs are welcome! A water bowl and dog bed are available to borrow. There are lovely walking routes in the area around the cabin.

Outdoor place (terrace etc) – A fire pit with a grill ring is located just outside the cabin. Firewood is available.
Separate bedrooms – Separate bedroom with a bunk bed, 90 × 200 cm per bed. The bedroom has blackout curtains and a reading lamp. The living room has a sofa bed, 140 × 200 cm. Bed linen is included.

Bicycle rental – One e-bike and two regular bicycles are available to borrow upon request and subject to availability.
Cross-country skiing – The nearest illuminated cross-country ski trail is about 900 metres from the cabin. Cross-country skis for both children and adults are available to borrow, with limited sizes. When snow conditions allow, we also prepare our own cross-country ski track on the field outside the cabin. With touring skis, you can ski towards the sea and to Lake Levarsjön, about 1 km from the cabin.
Downhill skiing (snowboard) – Approximately 15 minutes by car to Ålidbacken and 30 minutes to Agnäsbacken for downhill skiing.
Fishing – Good fishing opportunities in Nordmaling Municipality, with access to the coast, lakes and rivers. The coastal waters offer pike, perch and whitefish, while the Lögde and Öre rivers are known for salmon and sea trout. There are also several smaller lakes and streams offering perch, pike and trout. Fishing permits are required in most lakes and rivers.
Hiking trails – Nordmaling offers a variety of hiking opportunities, from short nature trails to longer hikes along the rivers. The Lögdeälvsleden trail follows the Lögde River through forests, ravines and rapids, with suspension bridges and picnic areas along the way. The Öreälvsleden follows the Öre River through varied landscapes. There are also several nature reserves and shorter trails, including the Storrisbergsgrottorna caves.
Indoor swimming facilities – Hammarhallen is approximately a 7-minute bike ride from the cabin.
Playground – A small playground is located at the community hall next to the cabin. Guests are also welcome to use the swings, sandbox and toys available on the farm.
Snowmobile driving – Good snowmobile trails are located directly next to the cabin. A trail fee to the local association may apply.
