This is a charming, authentic cottage dating back to the 18th century, beautifully situated amidst the Sörmland landscape between Flen and Katrineholm. The cottage is located less than 400 meters from a lake known for its birdlife. The undulating terrain of the esker creates a magical acoustic setting for the birdsong. The calls of cranes can be heard every late afternoon and evening during spring and early summer, alongside the peculiar booming of the bittern. The surrounding area offers hiking and cycling trails, forests rich in mushrooms and berries, and abundant wildlife. If you are lucky, you might spot falcons, roe deer, hares, or moose—or hear a fox calling out or owls hooting at night. Ancient Bronze Age remains are within walking distance, and a beautiful swimming lake with a jetty is just a 15-minute bike ride away.
