Seize the opportunity to rent our cozy 1970's cottage, located within walking distance of both the High Coast Trail and the beach. Here, you can enjoy the woodland setting and visit the enchanting Nässjöbäck stream, just a stone's throw into the woods. In the center of Köpmanholmen —3 km from the cottage— you will find a grocery store, restaurant, café, and an industrial heritage museum. Boats to the popular destination of Ulvön also depart from there. The cottage is perfect for anyone wishing to enjoy the nature of the High Coast while staying in a cozy, functional home.
The cottage consists of two rooms and a kitchen. It is equipped with a double bed (160 cm) in the bedroom and a sofa bed (120 cm) in the living room. There is a wood-burning stove and a washing machine. The bathroom features a shower and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, a stove (three burners), a microwave, a toaster, a coffee percolator, an electric kettle, an electric hand mixer, a blender, and a small dishwashing machine.
Good to know
As we have recently taken over the cottage, we have not yet had time to renovate the bathroom or the exterior. Occasionally, the tap water has a slighly odd taste, but it is perfectly safe to drink (we had the water tested the spring 2026). To ensure the water tastes good, we usually let it "aerate" in containers in the fridge for a while before drinking; this makes it taste normal.
Next to the cottage, there are two smaller red cabins where Mats’s sister and her small family sometimes stay. They also have a small dog. If they are there, you will share the parking area. They sometimes fetch water from the outdoor tap on the cottage, but otherwise, they are discreet neighbors during their visits.
