Guesthouse in Lilla Frö

Welcome to our old guesthouse in Lilla Frö, a carefully renovated guest house located on our traditional Öland farm in the village of Lilla Frö.

Here you will stay in a house full of history, where many original features have been preserved. This is a genuine Öland house dating back to the 19th century, not a newly built holiday home, and that is exactly what makes it so special. We have renovated it with great care to preserve its character and atmosphere. The wooden floors creak in places, and the ceilings are lower than in most modern houses, all of which adds to the charm and history of the house.

The house has two floors. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom with a shower, and one bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, as well as a living room.

Outside, you have your own private garden with outdoor seating and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying long summer evenings.

As the house is old and located in the countryside, you may occasionally find flies, spiders, or other small insects indoors, especially during the summer months. For us, this is simply part of life in an old farmhouse surrounded by nature.

You will be staying in the heart of Öland’s beautiful countryside, close to beaches, Haga Park, and scenic walking trails. At the same time, you are only a short drive from Färjestaden, Borgholm, and many of Öland’s most popular attractions.
