Cozy cottage with a private location in Gåtahult about 25 km from Växjö. Far from the nearest neighbor, only surrounded by forest and meadows with the opportunity to see wild animals and find berries and mushrooms.
Swimming and fishing are within a 10-minute drive in Lake Rottnen. There is also the opportunity to rent a rowing boat and a farm shop that is open during the weekends. About a 20-minute drive to larger communities such as Ingelstad and Hovmantorp with grocery stores and gas stations.
If you drive a little further, you can reach Kosta in Glasriket and Åsnen National Park within an hour.

The cottage was built in the early 1900s and modernized with WC/shower and kitchen in 2007.
Downstairs consists of kitchen, living room and bedroom with a double bed.
The upstairs is partly unfurnished, but with a bedroom with two separate beds.
The cottage does not have WIFI so your own mobile equipment is required to watch TV. Smart TV with built-in chromecast is available.
Pets are usually welcome, if they are well behaved, but please notify us of your wishes when booking.
Bed linen is not included.

For those who want privacy and silence, but still close to lakes and activities, this cottage is a good fit.
