The Cottage:
Cottage with its own lush garden for rent.The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed at one end, and a larger room including a kitchen at the other end, featuring a sofa bed that accommodates two people. In between, there is a bathroom.The property is approximately 2,000 square meters and surrounded by greenery that offers a high level of privacy. The four sides of the plot border 1) another cottage property, 2) a minor road, 3) a meadow/field, and 4) a sheep pasture.

The cottage is fully equipped in a simple yet comfortable condition, renovated during the 90s, and pleasantly furnished.

If you want a peaceful holiday in simple surroundings, this is a lovely option. Spending time just relaxing in the cottage and enjoying the garden is wonderful, but the area also offers many great destinations for nature, culture, and dining.

The Area:
The cottage is located about 3 km from Borghamn, where you will find a nice restaurant (run by the hosts) and a hostel/hotel with a café and restaurant next to a beautiful harbor where you can dock a boat, swim, and rent kayaks. There are also lovely beaches and barbecue areas. A small grocery store is available in Borghamn as well. The highly acclaimed and beautiful Mount Omberg, with its nature reserves, hiking trails, and excursion spots, is close by, 2–3 km from the cottage, and is also part of the view. Lake Vättern can be glimpsed on the near horizon from the back of the property. Lake Tåkern's visitor center (Naturum) is about 6 km away. Vadstena, a popular summer town rich in culture and history, is 15 km away. Next door to the cottage, there is a charming café with its own local production. The surrounding area has even more to offer. Transportation in the area requires a car, or alternatively, suits an experienced cyclist.
