Björköfjärden — generous dock & sunsets

Welcome to our lakeside cabin in the heart of Roslagen – a little archipelago paradise ideal for two adults but sleeping up to four, with the jetty deck as your natural living room. The cabin sits on our private property, but you have your own completely secluded section – we naturally keep away from this part of the grounds during your stay.
Inside, every detail has been carefully considered. The modern kitchen features an island to gather around, and on the ground floor a comfortable double bed awaits. Climb the stairs to the loft and you'll find two cosy single beds tucked right under the roofline. The bathroom is a little luxury in itself – elegantly designed with underfloor heating, a heated towel rail and a wonderful rain shower. Blackout curtains in every window ensure a good night's sleep whatever the season.
Comfort is high all year round. A crackling log burner spreads warmth and atmosphere on cool evenings, while the heat pump and ceiling fan keep the cabin fresh on the warmest summer days. Fast broadband is included should you need to connect in the middle of your idyll.
The true heart of the cabin is the spacious jetty deck. Here you can lay the table for a long, leisurely meal, sink back into the sun loungers and simply let the days unfold. The jetty has sheltered, private areas with no overlooking neighbours, and the sun follows you from morning to evening. For the adventurous, a small motorboat is available to hire separately – perfect for exploring hidden islands, casting a line in the bay or finding your very own swimming rock. Or perhaps enjoy a wood-fired sauna at sunset.
The surroundings are every bit as beautiful as the setting promises. With Barnens Ö directly across the water, you are surrounded by mushroom forests, deep nature reserves and the Roslagsleden trail right on your doorstep. The SL bus is a ten-minute walk away, and within twenty minutes by car you can reach ICA Älmsta, golf and padel courts, local restaurants, Väddö Canal and Simpnäs harbour – where the passenger ferry takes you out to the historic island of Arholma.

– Pets and children under 12 are not permitted, as the cabin is not equipped for them
– Please leave the cabin as you found it – cleaning is not included in the price but can be booked separately if needed
– Ideal for two adults; maximum occupancy is four persons – please state the number of guests at the time of booking
– Please be considerate of neighbours and the surroundings, particularly in the evenings
