Kalkudden outside Mariefred is a scenic area with beautiful walking/hiking paths along Lake Mälaren. About 3 minutes from the farm is Lake Mälaren with a swimming area from the beach and pier. In Mariefred about 5km away you will find Gripsholmsslott, a cozy little harbor area with a guesthouse. In the area around Mariefred there are the so-called wilderness stretches on the Sörmlandsleden.
