A charming family holiday home by Lake Försjön in Småland. Welcome to Småland, welcome to Hult (near Eksjö). The house is ideal for anyone who appreciates peaceful natural surroundings and proximity to the lake, and who wants to lose themselves in the worlds of author Astrid Lindgren’s childhood heroes.
This house (built in 1955) embodies our family’s decades-long love for Sweden. For over 30 years, our parents used the house as a holiday home. Now we, the children, have taken over the house, retaining the charm of bygone decades. Since 2025, we have been gradually renovating and modernising it.

Mandatory final cleaning (1,200 SEK) carried out by the Movänta Camping team will be added to the rental price.
Minimum rental period 5 days (exceptions on request)
Please bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels. Duvet dimensions: 150 cm x 200 cm. Pillow dimensions: 60 cm x 50 cm. If you do happen to forget something, you can borrow it from Movänta Camping.
Friendly dogs that don’t bother the neighbour’s dog 😉 are welcome.
This is not a party house; there are permanent residents living next door
In summer, electricity and water consumption are included.
For winter rentals: electric heating and firewood are charged according to consumption

Enclosed courtyard: the house and the outbuilding (not included in the rental) form a closed ‘U’ shape – ideal for the safety of children and dogs.
Aluminium canoe (incl. life jackets/paddles) available free of charge.
There are many paths near the house which are popular with locals for jogging.
The sauna visible in the photos cannot currently be used, as the old heating system, which has not yet been replaced, does not seem safe enough for our guests.

Neighbourhood & Parking:
The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with permanently occupied properties, so we simply ask for a little of that typical Swedish consideration. The garage is not included in the rental – it is currently home to ‘Olaf’, a vintage tractor, which is awaiting the next stage of its professional restoration. Your private parking space is located directly in front of the garage on the property.
Safety notice (electric cars):
The house’s electrical system is not suitable for charging electric cars (fire hazard!). Professional charging stations can be found in Eksjö, e.g. at the ICA store.

Cleaning:
Final cleaning by the Movänta Camping team is mandatory. We have deliberately chosen this approach as every guest has a different idea of what constitutes cleanliness. In this way, we wish to guarantee all guests that their holiday begins in a clean house from the very first minute and that, on the day of departure, you do not waste time cleaning but can instead enjoy the final hours of your holiday.

The cleaning team at Movänta Camping will also carry out the cleaning and inspect for any damage (canoe, interior, etc.). We simply ask that you leave the house swept as usual and that you wash up completely, including putting everything away in the cupboards.
