Vårholma Värmdö

Large, beautiful house fully equipped with fresh and stylish interior, located at the top of the island with a private location and wonderful views. A perfect place to enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch boats pass in the fairway at Lindalssundet (limited sea view).

Around the house there is a large, lovely terrace that bathes in the sun, with patios in several directions and a sheltered location.

On the entrance floor you will find the heart of the house; the beautiful living room with ceiling height open to the ridge, windows in three directions and a fully glazed gable. The room has large social areas with a modern and well-equipped kitchen and a large dining area, sofa, reading chairs, TV, and fireplace. Sliding doors to the seaside and the south-facing terrace with barbecue and outdoor furniture

Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds 180 and 160 x 200 with box spring mattresses
Bedroom 3 has a single bed 120 x 200 with box spring mattress
Bedroom 4 is smaller and has a bunk bed.
There are wardrobes in all rooms and patio doors to the terrace in rooms 1-3.

Bathroom with shower and toilet.

A spiral staircase in the hall leads up to the spacious and bright loft with standing height, several windows and opening to the living room.

Here there are 2 comfortable beds, both 180x200, armchairs and TV.

On the terrace there is a house with a sauna (electric) and a nice seating area built into the gable.

Vårholma is an approximately 3 km long and 1 km wide island in the Stockholm archipelago. It is located north of Lindalssundet at Värmdö. The regular archipelago boats go to the island daily all year round. From the pier to the house it is 2-300 meters, as the house is located high up there is a considerable hill. You can borrow an electric wheelbarrow from the owner to transport bags and grocery bags etc.

Vårholma has several nice small roads and paths, perfect for a walk, a run or a visit to mushroom and berry forests. There are also plenty of bathing places on the island
You can get to Vårholma by the regular Waxholm boat from central Stockholm, a 1.5 hour journey. Normally 3 trips daily, which call at Vaxholm on the way. There are also boats from Lillsved on Värmdö, which can be reached by car or bus. Private parking can be offered there, the boat trip to Vårlunda pier (the one closest to the house) only takes 6 minutes. A steering console boat may be included, then with a mooring at both a private pier on the island and in Lillsved

Excursions to do:
Take the regular Waxholm boat to charming Vaxholm (about 30 minutes boat ride) where you will find shopping, restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors as well as grocery stores. There is also a large park with a playground and mini golf.

At Lillsved there is a nice summer café with service in a boathouse and outdoor seating at the pier. There is also a large selection of exercise trails and hiking trails as well as kayak rentals.
Via your own boat, or the Waxholm boat, you can easily reach nearby Grinda with a well-known archipelago restaurant, café, small shop, etc. and from there continue towards Möja, Sandhamn and the rest of the middle archipelago.

The maximum number of guests per booking is 10 people. It is important that you are a little careful with water consumption as there is limited water and sewage capacity in the house and on the island.
