Welcome to a newly-renovated house in Snäckevarp, Gryt. The area is popular among Swedes and Europeans who own summer houses. The house is surrounded by a large decking area which is exposed to the sun from early morning to late evening. It is within walking distance of well-kept trails, such as Östgötaleden, and a nature reserve with remnants of the last ice age. The house is situated between Fyrudden and Ekön. Fyrudden is the local harbour, with many facilities to welcome Swedish and European leisure boats, including a restaurant; pizzeria; ice-cream bar and a small convenience store. Local boats can be used to access some of the islands in the archipelago, e.g. the popular island of Härstena. The campsite at Ekön provides the possibly of renting canoes, cycles and paddleboards (SUPS). The surroundings offer access to bathing in the sea or pool, as well as fishing. The local golf-course is a 10-minute-drive away. There is also a local bus route into Valdemarsvik close by. The house has internet via fibre and the TV has Google Tv with Chromecast, giving access to many popular streaming services. The stable Wifi also opens the possibility of “working from home.”
