Älgö Saltsjöbaden. Sea view, private jetty

Älgö is a peaceful island with a preserved archipelago feel and nice swimming just 30 minutes drive from Stockholm. The cottage with sea view and its own private bathing jetty is located in a holiday home area on a child-friendly natural plot with grassy areas and sunny patios in two directions, one with a nice sea view.
The main building is well planned. The bright living room has a comfortable sofa with chaise longue and fireplace with wood stove for cozy evenings. The house's kitchen is newly renovated and well equipped and there is a bright dining area in the glazed dining veranda.
The bathroom with toilet and shower cabin is also newly renovated.
There are three bedrooms; one with a double bed 160x200 cm with a spring mattress, several wardrobes.
The second with a wide single bed with a spring mattress and wardrobe.
The third bedroom is part of the former veranda and has a single bed 90x200 cm with a spring mattress, and a wider single bed with a good foam mattress and clothes storage.
All bedrooms have roller blinds.
Access to the washing machine and dryer is in the basement of the house.

The cottage has a sunny furnished balcony and another furnished patio on the plot offers a fantastic sea view for dinners in the evening sun. The charcoal grill is ready for cosy barbecue evenings.

The private jetty is located 250 meters below the house. A nice forest path leads there where you can sunbathe and swim or just sit and enjoy the sea views and the boat traffic passing by Fällström.

Within walking distance (about 700 m) there is a popular and child-friendly sandy beach with a playground and kiosk. There are also tennis courts that you can book via instructions from the homeowner. For those who like to walk, hike or run, there is much to explore in the surroundings. The Älgö runt promenade starts just outside the plot boundary and follows the coast. Älgö also has a nature reserve with walks and hiking trails.

In the historic Saltsjöbaden there are many beautiful environments and houses to discover and enjoy. Beautiful villas from different eras, restaurants, museums, beach promenades, boating and sea bathing. There are also many sports activities here, including an 18-hole golf course, paddle, indoor swimming pool, exercise tracks and several wonderful nature reserves with hiking trails and swimming in both the lake and the sea. Kayak rental, SUP, sauna and cold bath are offered at Vår Gård (5 km).

In the center of Saltsjöbaden there is most of what you need, grocery store, Systembolaget(liquor store), pharmacy, bookstore, library, restaurants and other retail.
Distance Saltsjöbaden center 7-8 km by car about 10 minutes.

Distance Stockholm; 25 km (by car about 30 minutes).
Good connections to Stockholm by bus and Saltsjöbanan. Also entrance parking.
