Strömmadal Värmdö Near swimming lake

The house with "that little extra" is located by a wonderful small swimming lake in a cottage area with large outdoor areas around the corner. The lake Kroksjön warms up quickly in sunny weather, has a nice child-friendly sandy beach, barbecue area, bathing rocks and a jetty.
It is also possible to swim in the Baltic Sea at Brevikssundet or Ålbadet, 2-3 km from the house.

There are several buildings on the plot;

The large house 75 m2 was completely renovated and expanded in the 2000s. House and lavish comfortable and luxurious interior in very good condition.
Spacious living area with many windows and light. Fireplace, sofa group, grand piano and SMART-TV, channels are streamed using the guests' own mobile/computer.
Partially open plan to a modern well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Access to the balcony from the kitchen.
Wonderful bathroom with a relaxing feel and balcony door.
Nice and bright bedroom with a luxurious double bed. Walk in closet.

The guesthouse, approx. 40 m2, is the original cottage with a nice and charming older style preserved. There is electricity but no water supply so you fill a jug from the main cottage. Nice kitchen with dining area.
Living room with small sofa/day bed and TV (Note the fireplace is NOT in use.) Small bedroom with comfortable double bed.

There is also a small sleeping cabin with bunk beds in part of the storage building. The built-in beds are 80*190 cm. New good foam mattresses + mattress pads.

Around the main house there is a large angled terrace with several furniture groups. Dining group, sun loungers and lounge furniture in part of the terrace under cover. On the plot there are several nice patios in different weather conditions and character. For example, a hammock, an outdoor bed under the birches, a table by the guest cottage and a breakfast veranda.

There is also a wood-fired hot tub, outdoor gym, 7-8 holes of golf and a tent with a golf simulator.
Kayaks are available for rent.

The surrounding area offers large natural areas with hiking trails, as well as miles of fine gravel roads, perfect for forest walks and bike rides. Within walking distance is the village of Strömma with Kanalbaren; a popular restaurant and bar where you have the best location to watch the boats passing by. There is also a café and summer shop. From Strömma you can take a regular boat to the outer archipelago or to Stockholm.

Many nice excursion destinations in the area. Culture, history, art and nice restaurants. A wide range for those interested in sports and for those who want an active holiday. Among other things, several good 18-hole golf courses within 10 minutes' drive.

Distance to Stockholm 33 km (about 30 minutes by car). Very good communications with direct bus to Stockholm about 35 minutes.
