The cottage is spread over two floors and can accommodate up to 6 guests. On the entrance floor there is a fresh bathroom with shower, a functional kitchen for all your holiday meals and a living room with a TV and a sofa bed for two. On the upper floor there are two cozy bedrooms – both with two single beds – and access to a lovely balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the forest and the mountains on the horizon.

Things to see and do in Skillingsfors and the surrounding area

Skillingsfors is located in the middle of the Värmland wilderness - a paradise for nature lovers. Here there are endless forest paths to hike, run or cycle on, and a variety of mirror-like lakes for fishing, swimming and quiet canoeing.

Bring a fishing rod to one of the many lakes in the area - known for their clean water and good fishing luck. Paddle along calm waterways, or take your coffee basket to one of the many beautiful picnic areas with views of the forest and mountains.

In winter, cross-country ski trails and sparkling snow landscapes beckon, while summertime invites you to berry picking, forest picnics and wilderness life on your own terms.

In the village you will find a small general store, charming farm cafes and often local craft markets during the summer months. If you want to make a day trip, both Charlottenberg and the Norwegian Kongsvinger are within easy reach - with shopping, culture and restaurants.
