Older cottage outside Markaryd | SE07057

In southern Småland you will find this incredibly charming cottage. Built in the 19th century and renovated by the owners to retain its contemporary feel. Spacious and cozy accommodation for the large family or perhaps 2 families who want to travel together and share the cost. The cottage is located in a scenic, quiet location, where you can stay and relax and listen to the chirping of birds, among other things.
The cottage consists of a cozy kitchen, large renovated fully tiled bathroom and a spacious living room. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a single bed, the second with two bunk beds and the third with two single beds. Which means that a total of 9 people can stay here. There is also a small bed for a child in one of the bedrooms. Access to a sauna is also available.

Things to see and do in Markaryd and the surrounding area
If you want to swim, there are swimming areas both at Strömsnäsbruk and in Markaryd. In Markaryd there is also an indoor pool and in Strömsnäsbruk an outdoor pool in the summer with a pool and baby pool. Nearby is also Markaryd's Elk Safari. Here you can experience not only elks but also bison bulls up close. You can also plan a trip to Älmhult, where you can visit the IKEA museum or explore Enlinge elk park.
