Charming 1920s house with large yard on the historic island Adelsö. Located in a rural idyll with lake Mälaren, horse paddocks, hiking trails and boating right outside the door. Perfect for those who want to experience nature, summer idyll and UNESCO-listed Hovgården/Birka - while still being close to the island's café, charming supermarket and numerous local events. The house offers cosy living areas, three bedrooms with sleeping space for up to six guests (one double bed) and a newly built sauna in a separate building. For those who enjoy boating, a boat can be rented at an additional cost.

Gas barbecue, sauna, outdoor furniture and washing machine are available for use. Free parking for up to 3 cars.

From the house, it is an idyllic walk of about 950 meters to the bathing and boat jetty and 100 meters to the nearest horse paddock.
The house is located about an hour's drive from central Stockholm. On the way to Adelsö, you pass places of interest such as Drottningholm Palace. There is a regular car and passenger ferry service that takes you the last bit of the way to the island. The ferry trip takes about five minutes. You can also get there by public transport. Bus 312 stops 100 meters from the house (connection to Brommaplan, where the subway runs).
