At the edge of the forest, just 200 metres from Lake Bredasjön, you’ll find a place to truly slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
The forest surrounding Drängstugan has been cared for by my family for more than 100 years. I focus on recreation and nature experiences rather than timber production, and my father did the same in his time. The result is a varied, calm, and beautiful forest landscape, perfect for walks, swimming, berry picking, and simply being in nature.
The cottage consists of a large open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area, sofa, and fireplace, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedroom layout: one bedroom with 2 beds (double bed) and one family bedroom with 4 beds (double bed + bunk bed).
This is a completely quiet and secluded part of the countryside, with no traffic and no nearby neighbours. At night it is pitch dark and completely silent. On clear nights, the starry sky is truly spectacular, very different from what you see in more built-up areas.
In addition to Lake Bredasjön, where a rowing boat is available, there are several other lakes within easy walking distance. You can swim either at the farm’s own small bay or on the other side of the lake (approx. 1 km by foot, car, or boat), where there is a bathing jetty.
The cottage is ideal for couples, families, and groups of friends looking for peace and relaxation away from everyday stress – without giving up comfort. WiFi is available, with fibre internet for a stable and reliable connection.

- There is another house on the farm which is sometimes rented out, sleeping up to 8 guests.
- The houses are located on opposite sides of the farmyard, each with its own outdoor seating area, so you will not be close to each other.
- If you are looking for complete privacy and would like to have the entire farm to yourselves, it is possible to rent both houses.
