Cozy cottage at Yxlan, in the Roslagen archipelago

Cozy accommodation close to many archipelago experiences and relaxing on Yxlan, in the Roslagen archipelago. With its own large plot, barbecue, patios, bicycles (in existing condition) and walking distance to beaches and piers. Swings, sandbox and football pitch are available in the vicinity. The nearest beach is about 500 m with rocks and pebbles. About 10 km to the sandy beach in Köpmanholm.

Living room
The house has a large living room with fireplace, large sofa, armchair and TV.

Kitchen
Fully equipped kitchen with dining area for 6 people. Stove with 4 hotplates, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer and coffee maker

Bathroom
Bathroom with washing machine, shower and sink. Modern separate room in another building adjacent to the house.

Bedroom
2 large bedrooms with 2 beds in each room and wardrobes for storage.
Extra sleeping places: Adjacent to the house there are two guest cottages with a 90 bed in one and a 120 bed in the other.

Large beautiful natural plot with both a forest area with berries to pick and a large lawn with fruit trees and berry bushes that are suitable for relaxation, play and outdoor games. In the garden there is a dining group (table and chairs) for at least 8 people, a barbecue and a hammock to relax in.

There are many nice walking paths in the forest and along the water.

Towels and bed linen are not included.
Tenants clean themselves before departure. Final cleaning cannot be booked.
WiFi is available in the cottage.
Total smoking ban indoors.
Due to allergies, pets are not allowed in our cottage.

By Boat: Waxholmsbåt from the city goes to Kolsviks jetty

By Bus: SL bus number 632 from Norrtälje.

MORE ABOUT YXLAN AND SURROUNDINGS
Yxlan is an island located in Stockholm's northern archipelago, neighboring Furusund and Blidö, with proximity to the open sea (the Baltic Sea).
From Yxlan it is easy to discover the surroundings, go to Furusund and experience the environment and eat at the historic inn. Furusund has a gas station that also sells groceries and fast food. If you take the car ferry in the other direction from Yxlan, you will reach Blidö. There you will find, for example, Blidö Hamnkrog, a Thai kiosk, a well-stocked grocery store (ICA Nära) and Blidö church, which is worth a visit. At the ferry stop on Yxlan, there is Köpmanholms Lanthandel och Grill, which has the most necessary groceries and fast food.

People used to go to Furusund to swim and drink well water, it is a really lovely old seaside resort.

But Furusund has much older history, there is, for example, the Compass Rose with the royal crown carved into the rock, the oldest in the Nordic countries (1463).
From the steamboat piers at Yxlan, Furusund and Blidö, charming archipelago boats crisscross through the islands of the archipelago, you can also take the boat all the way to Stockholm and get off in the middle of the big city. The steamboat Blidösund docks at most of the steamboat piers. Kolsviks pier is the closest to our property.
