Summer House near the Sea / Studio Building

Stay in an artist’s studio building on idyllic and scenic Sturkö in the Karlskrona archipelago! Walking distance to swimming and fishing opportunities. The area offers beautiful nature and is close to a grocery store, bakery, playground, café, and pizzeria. Sturkö and the surrounding islands provide several fine bathing spots and hiking trails.

There are good connections to Karlskrona, only 500 meters to the bus stop and 1 km to the ferry that takes you to Karlskrona in 15 minutes. Pack a picnic basket for a day trip and explore the Eastern archipelago with direct ferry connections from Sturkö! By car, you reach Karlskrona city center in 30 minutes.

The studio building, 55 sqm in size and built in 2000, consists of two parts with separate entrances. Between the doors there is a covered veranda, making it easy to move between the spaces sheltered and comfortably. One part consists of a living room with kitchen, the other part has a shower cabin, toilet, and a bedroom upstairs. In the living room with open ceiling and large light inlet, there is a dining area, sofa group, a recliner armchair, and a 46-inch full HDTV with basic channels. Free fiber WiFi with good capacity. In addition, an air heat pump is installed, providing pleasant cooling when the sun is at its strongest. The kitchen area is well equipped with convection oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Parking space is available, with the option to charge an electric car. Price by agreement.

The bedroom has 4 spring beds (80 cm), which can easily be rearranged for best comfort. A travel cot and high chair are available to borrow.

In the room with toilet and shower cabin there is also a washing machine.

The studio building and the owners’ house are located on the same plot, which is 3000 sqm and lush. Its seclusion provides great opportunities for peace and quiet, and is highly appreciated. A large cherry tree provides pleasant shade, our own “cork oak.” On the southeast side of the studio there is a neighbor whose house is about 50 m away, other neighbors are hardly noticeable.

A private patio with garden furniture and barbecue facilities is available. For children there is, among other things, a trampoline.

Weekly rent during low season is 5500 SEK, high season (weeks 25–35) is 7000 SEK.

During low season (not high season), the studio building can also be rented for 800 SEK per night, minimum 2 nights.

The weekly rent applies to 4 people. Overnight stay for an additional 2 people can be arranged, with folding beds in the living room, after agreement with the landlord.

Smoking indoors is not allowed.

Rental period per week is Saturday at 15:00 to Saturday at 11:00.

The tenant cleans before checkout. A deposit of 1000 SEK is paid at check-in and refunded at checkout. Normal departure cleaning can be included, cost 1000 SEK.

Pillows and duvets are included. Bed linen can be rented, 200 SEK per set.

The rental cost is paid according to Stugknuten’s instructions.
