Surroundings:
Here you can stay in fantastic, scenic surroundings just at stone's throw from lake Vallsjön, 3 km southeast if Rörbäcksnäs. The bike trail Vallsjörundan passes over the property and you have miles of hiking trails and beautiful berry fields right on your doorstep. Rowing boat (included in the rent) and swimming opportunities just 100 meters away. If there is enough snow, the cross-country trails pass only 100 m north of the cabin, and there is plenty of space to park with a snowmobile trailer if you prefer to stick to motorized winter sports.
Rörbäcksnäs is perhaps best known for having some of the absolute best mountain bike trails in Sweden, but there is also great fishing in several lakes nearby and a wide range of other activities for those who want an active holiday. There are no game fish in Vallsjön, but feel free to take a trip in the rowing boat and try your luck fishing for pike and perch! (Fishing license required in the entire area).
From us you can reach 7 alpine facilities within 40 minutes, the closest is Hundfjället, about 12-15 minutes from the cottage. We are also close to a year-round open grocery store (ICA Nära), 3 km.
The cottage:
- 6 beds spread over three bedrooms, the largest of which has a 160 cm wide continental bed.
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and induction hob. There is also a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, waffle iron etc.
- Bathroom with WC, shower and a sauna for 2-4 people.
- Living room with sofa area next to the soapstone stove and dining area for 6 people next to the kitchen. Highchair avaliable.
In addition, there is a large, lovely south-facing terrace with a glimpse of the lake where you can enjoy the sun all day! Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.
Charging of electric cars is NOT allowed, the nearest charging station is at Scandinavian Mountains Airport, only 10 minutes away.
