Bright and spacious on the outskirts of Särna

The house is newly renovated, we live here ourselves during the winters when we have our work in the area; in the summers we live 120 km north and hope to welcome you to our house! Large kitchen, a family bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, a smaller bedroom with bunk bed where the lower bunk is wide enough for two, and a living room with three more convertible sleeping places (beds that act as sofas when not in use).

Pleasant quiet plot, lawn with garden furniture. Walking distance down to the village, with restaurants, shops and swimming area, and many nice forest paths in different directions. In the surroundings there are also cycle paths on asphalt, gravel and in the forest; technical track for MTB; and fine fishing waters (fishing license on the iFiske app and Särna Camping, where you can also rent a boat).

Don't miss the Old Church in Särna, built in 1684, the Gammelgården right next door from the early 18th century where evenings with refreshments are organized during the high summer, and the open-air museum Lomkällan.

Take day trips to one of Sweden's highest waterfalls, Njupeskär, Fulufjället National Park, Idrefjäll's range of activities, or quieter trips with views of Vedungsfjället.

In the winters, the family's reindeer roam the forests east of the village and we look after them daily. In April, the reindeer move up to the calving grounds in the mountains around Tänndalen and we move with them. In late summer, the reindeer move towards the forest terrain again: the mushrooms are tempting. During October, the first flocks are usually released towards Fjätfjällen and Vedungen, and with the separation in January we move down with the whole flock. We are happy to be able to rent out the house while we are in the summer country in order to have the opportunity to keep our accommodation in the winter country. Take the opportunity to browse through one of the children's books or textbooks in Southern Sami during your stay with us!

Our best colleagues the dogs live in the hall when staying in the house, not in other rooms. There are three cages and a dog run outside.
There are also toys and Lego for children of different ages.
