Easter Week:
Easter Week in Åhus/Österlen/Skåne is marked by the so-called "Konstrundan" where artists open their studios to the public. This is a very popular tradition that started 50 years ago and attracts lots of visitors from Sweden and several other countries. There are many exhibitors in Åhus.
Kristianstads GK is one of Sweden's oldest clubs, which has hosted several major tournaments over the years. In recent years, the club has been the organizer of tour tournaments at a level just below the European Tour, for both women and men. Since the new owners took over a few years ago, the club has undergone a major facelift. After the renovation of the Eastern course, which was carried out together with Pierre Fulke, Kristianstads GK has risen to the top of the European golf courses, and is now ranked as one of the best golf courses in the Nordic region.
It takes about 1½-2 hours by car to reach Malmö, Helsingborg and Denmark.
