Beautiful, old timber house

Genuine, old timber house from the 19th century, situated in the stunning and unique area of Malma on Värmdö.
The main house, called "Landbacken", has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a king size bed (180x200) and storage for clothes. Just outside, in the hall, you have a guest loo with a sink. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds (90x200) and a Javanese bed measuring 105x170. Adjacent to these beds is the bathroom with shower, sink and bidet. The kitchen is a later addition and is large, light and very well equipped, with dining table, sofa, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, micro, electrical cooker & oven. The utility room is off the kitchen where you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer. Here is also the second double bedroom (160x200) and a separate Cinderella loo and sink.
The sitting room has 2 sofas, open fire place, and a smart tv.

The guest cottage "Lillbacken" (20m2) has a king size bed (180x200) as well as a mini kitchen "Trinette" with sink, 2 plate cooker and fridge. It´s equipped with kettle and toaster and has cold water in the sink.

The property has 2 good sized decks which easily sit 20 people. You will have sun here from mid morning and all day until late evening- wonderful for you dinner or drinks-or both!

You are welcome to borrow bikes, pic-nic basket, cool-bag, life vests, tent, sleeping bags etc. Just ask me if you need anything at all and I will try my best to help!
There are 2 wonderful lakes in the forest and within an easy 10-minute walk. They warm up quicker than the sea and to swim in the forest is a truly magical experience. One, “Skepparviksträsk” has a small sandy beach, suitable for the younger children but lovely for everyone. From early afternoon until late evening, you have sun here and a wonderful spot for a pic-nic or evening drinks. If you prefer the sea, you can walk to rocks overlooking “Nämdöfjärden” Here you will have fabulous views over islands and skerries, so typical of this part of the world. To really experience the archipelago, you need to be on the water and there are small ferries from Stavsnäs that can take you to Sandhamn, Nämdö or Runmarö. We have 2 very good golf courses within a 25min drive, Fågelbro Golf&Country Club and also Värmdö Golf.

Included in your rental: end and start of stay clean, bedding, towels, electricity and wifi.

Booking terms: I ask for a 25% deposit when booking and the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. I also take a 3000sek refundable deposit which will be paid back minus any breakages or damage.
