The house is located in a peaceful and scenic area just outside Härnösand, in the High Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, where I normally live year-round.

Here, you will stay with views over a sea bay and close proximity to both forest and water. The property enjoys sunshine for most of the day and offers beautiful views of the bay with lovely sunsets.

The surrounding area consists of spruce and pine forests with excellent opportunities for walks and excursions. Depending on the season, there are also opportunities for berry and mushroom picking.

The house accommodates 6 guests across 4 bedrooms. The layout is open-plan, featuring a spacious living room connected to the kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and other kitchen appliances – everything you need for a comfortable stay.

There is a TV with channels from Allente as well as Apple TV. Wi-Fi is included.

The bathroom is large and equipped with a toilet, shower, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The water supply comes from a deep-drilled well.

The house is single-storey, with a few steps leading up to the terrace. Part of the terrace is glass-enclosed and features a large table with seating for 8 people.

The distance to a small sandy beach is approximately 50 metres. The beach is shallow and well suited for swimming. Svartvik Beach, which has a large sandy beach, is located 3.4 km away.

A rowing boat, canoe, and kayak are included in the rental, and there are excellent opportunities for various water activities. Life jackets are available to borrow.

If you are interested in cornhole, equipment is also available to borrow.

During cooler weather, there is a wood-burning stove for heating and cosy evenings.

Three parking spaces are available in front of the house.

Cleaning is carried out by the guest. A security deposit of SEK 2,000 is charged at the time of booking and will be refunded after inspection of the house.

Svartvik Beach (3.4 km) – a large and beautiful sandy beach.
Smitingen Beach (approx. 12 km) – a beautiful seaside area with sandy beaches, cliffs, caves, sea stacks, rocky shores, and a restaurant; considered one of the finest swimming spots in northern Sweden.
Härnö Gin Hotel with spa and indoor pool facilities (6 km) in central Härnösand.
Härnö Gin tasting experiences (8 km).
Technichus (5 km) – a science centre for children and families.
Västernorrland County Museum (8 km).
Härnösand Car Museum (7 km) – Sweden’s largest car museum.
Berget Event (approx. 22 km) – a former military defence facility on Hemsön.
Fishing Opportunities

With the rowing boat, there are opportunities for fishing in the bay, where perch, pike, and other fish species can be caught.

There are also nearby fishing areas with streams and small lakes (fishing permits required) where trout and other game fish can be caught. Värptjärn is located near Fällöviken.
