Grönkulla Ljusterö. Charming cottage near beach

Homely cottage with charming surroundings near sandy beach and regular boat jetty. Rowing boat and bicycles included. The house has verandas in 3 different directions, one part has a roof. The balcony has 2 sunbeds on one side facing the south, and a dining group with 4 chairs is positioned to the west to enjoy the evening sun. The balcony to the east has a roof and a comfortable seating area. Charcoal grill is available when you long for a barbecue meal.

The bright living room has large windows in two directions with a view of the green grounds and a glass door directly out onto the balcony. The room has a seating area with armchairs and a daybed/sofa and Smart TV. A fireplace with a wood-burning stove increases the coziness factor.
The daybed in the living room is also a real bed with a spring mattress which can therefore be used as an extra bed.
The cottage has two small bedrooms. One with a double bed 140 cm. The second room has two single beds 90 cm. The bedrooms have curtains instead of doors. All beds have comfortable and newer spring mattresses. Wardrobes and clothes storage are in one bedroom and between the living room and kitchen.

The kitchen has a spacious dining area by the window and has an open plan to the living room.

In the hall there is a separate toilet with wc and sink, as well as a shower and washing machine in the adjoining room.

Good quality water from a common water source. Remember to be frugal as there is not unlimited water in the Archipelago.
Internet via fiber/wifi. Good mobile coverage.

The plot is relatively private and consists of both lawn and natural areas. Boule and some other games are available to borrow. When you want to look around, there are pleasant walking and cycling routes in charming surroundings. Lovely swimming area with a sandy beach within walking distance, approx. 600 m. Kiosk 1000 m. A couple of bicycles for adults and a children's bicycle are available to borrow in existing condition from the owner.

Ljusterö is a fairly large island with beautiful rural surroundings and many excursion destinations, e.g. wonderful Östra Lagnö nature reserve. At Linanäs (16 km) there are two nice restaurants by the jetty, as well as a guest harbor and delicatessen. A steamboat and several regular boat lines operate here daily. At Ljusterö square (5 km), there is a grocery store, pharmacy, system company representative, restaurants, gelateria and bread truck.

Waxholms boats depart from Åsättra jetty near the cottage and you can make excursions to other islands in the archipelago; e.g. Finnhamn, Husarö, Ingmarsö, Svartsö, Möja.
It is also possible to take the boat into Stockholm Strömkajen at the Grand Hotel (with reservation for changes, the summer timetable is available from mid-May).

From Ljusterö it is not far to Norrtälje, which is a wonderful summer town. Another excursion tip is the Wira mill, which is located near the ferry stop on the mainland.

About 6 miles + 5 minutes car ferry to Stockholm or Arlanda. Free ferry departs from Östanå ferry camp (north of Åkersberga) to Ljusterö with frequent connections approximately every 10 minutes in the summer. It is also possible to take bus 626 to Åsättra brygga with the stop approx. 10 minutes walk from the house.
Or by Waxholm boat from Stockholm Strömkajen at the Grand Hotel.
