Perfect for the small family!
Our cozy little summer cottage is located on the edge of the community Fredriksdal about 9 km southwest of Nässjö in the Småland highlands. The house is located on a plot of land by Lake Fredriksdalsjön with shallow bathing beach.
Here you can spend the days with various activities or just be and take some much-needed rest. It can be long evenings at the beach or out on the veranda with a good barbecue dinner.
Enjoy the sunset over the lake, end the day with an evening swim and cozy up in the glow of the flames of the wood burning stove.
The possibilities are many where you can do everything you could wish for if you long for relaxation.
No Wi-Fi (installed in 2027)
Description of the accommodation
Ground floor:
• Kitchen: small, but equipped with a sink, fridge, small freezer, pantry, stove, built-in oven and coffee maker as well as glasses, crockery, cutlery for 6-8 people, renovated summer 2021.
• Dining room: view of the lake with room for approx. 6-8 people, armchair, and a bookshelf. There is also an extra children's mattress in the bookcase cabinet
• Living room: Sofa bed for one person, one armchair, two chairs, table, chest of drawers, TV, wood burning stove.
• Bathroom: Shower, sink and WC, newly built in 2022 (no washing machine).
• Veranda: Dining area for 6-8 people, grill, cushions and cushion box, parasol, and roof.
Upstairs: (note steep stairs)
• Hall: a fixed single bed, small wardrobe.
• Bedroom: two single beds (can be moved together if desired, dresser, bedside table.
there is also a bedside cabinet for children
Total number of beds 4 + 1 (child)
Parking space for one car is available on the plot. No charging station.
Older plastic rowing boat and various life jackets, as well as two adult bicycles, three children bikes are available to borrow free.
Lake Fredriksdalsjön offers, with your own fishing license, really good fishing where there are large stocks of pike, perch and zander. The lake also has a rich bird life and a stone's throw away are large forests and meadows that invite you to pick berries and mushrooms.
In Nässjö, 9 km away, there are shops, cafes and restaurants, if you are looking for a larger selection, you are only about 4 miles from Jönköping and 3 miles from the old fine wooden town of Eksjö.
It is also an excellent starting point for day trips to e.g. Bodafors Ecomuseum, Boda Borg in Sävsjö, Kleva mine, Astrid Lindgren land, as well as for golf lovers with proximity to several courses such as Nässjö, Jönköping and Eksjö.

Helt fantastiskt ställe, som inte saknar någonting! Underbar liten stuga med ljuvlig utsikt och sjötomt - det kan inte bli bättre. Perfekt när man behöver komma bort från vardagens stress och stadslivet. Hela familjen älskade det, och vi kommer garanterat tillbaka!

Das Ferienhaus ist sauber und hat eine (fast) perfekte Lage. Aber: Das Haus ist wirklich winzig! Alle Schränke, Schubladen, Regale etc. sind voll mit Sachen vom Vermieter. Dadurch das wir nur zu zweit waren konnten wir die Sachen teilweise auf den freien Betten bzw. auf dem Wohnzimmertisch lagern. Der Weg nach oben ist durch die sehr steile Treppe und die schmalen Treppenstufen sehr speziell und gefährlich. Meine Frau hat sich NICHT hoch getraut. Die Betten sind leider auch schon sehr durchgelegen. Zu zweit ist das Ferienhaus gerade noch ok. aber da stimmt dann aus unserer Sicht das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis leider gar nicht! Positiv möchten wir aber noch hervorheben, dass der Vermieter sich oft nach uns erkundigt hat und uns auch vor Unwettern gewarnt hat. Die Umgebung ist übrigens hervorragend zum Fahrrad fahren, Pilze suchen und Preiselbeeren sammeln geeignet und das Angeln war auch nicht schlecht!

Wir freuen uns, dass Ihnen unser haus und die lage gefallen. Wir möchten in unserer beschreibung, die das haus sowohl in text als auch in vielen bildern zeigt, ehrlich sein. Die treppe wird ausdrücklich als steil erwähnt, was auch auf den bildern zu sehen ist. Wir bedauern, dass Ihre frau die treppe gemieden hat. Wir erwähnen auch, dass das haus klein ist, aber folgenden stauraum bietet: Unten befindet sich eine große, leere kommode. Oben gibt es einen kleinen kleiderschrank und mehrere kleiderhaken. Unter den betten befinden sich zwei leere schubladen mit deckel. Diese wurden für sie herausgezogen, damit sie sie nicht vermissen. Da sie nur zu zweit waren, bestand auch die möglichkeit, Ihre sachen auf zwei betten zu legen. Natürlich variieren die bedürfnisse hinsichtlich des gepäcks, aber normalerweise funktioniert es für familien mit bis zu fünf oder sechs personen.
