A cozy cottage beyond the ordinary!

With a high location and a view of Lake Åkersjön and a striking view towards Önrun, you will find our cozy cottage from the 1930s. Here you live practically centrally in the village of Åkersjön. The cabin is fully equipped with stove/oven, microwave, smart TV, fiber/wifi, fireplace, toilet, shower, etc.

The water in the cabin is not for drinking, but it can be used perfectly for washing dishes and showering. Waterbottles are brought by the tenant and can easily be refilled in the immediate area, e.g. at Circle K in Krokom. There are always a couple of bottles of clean water in the pantry for use.

The wood stove in the kitchen is used to heat the cabin via a water element. There is also an electric cartridge here that is easily put on if you are away for the day or want comfort heat for the night. There is a newly installed air heat pump in the hall which contributes to good air circulation and provides a comfortable temperature in the cabin.

Do you like the tranquility of beautiful mountain nature and want the opportunity for many activities in all seasons? Here is a good starting point with proximity to hotels, petrol stations and other excursion destinations.

In the winter, you can easily get down to the lake and try your luck at fishing on the ice. There is also the opportunity to ride cross-country skis and scooters on nice trails and go downhill on the village's ski slope "Drivan" with two runs. If you want to get out into the untouched nature at Björnrun, we can recommend Jet Sleddogs, where you can try driving your own dog sled.

During the summer, you can fish for trout and char in the lake, hike up Önrun or Ansätten via the Blomsterleden or experience Sweden's "Alaska" in the beautiful Hotagenfjällen.

The house is left tidy and cleaned.

Rental contract is sent at the time of booking. 20 percent of the rent is paid no later than 10 days after the signed contract, and the remaining part no later than 30 days before the beginning of the rental period.
