The island has a bridge connection to the mainland, and it is possible to drive all the way to our lovely cottage. From the cottage to the cliffs, it's about 1.5 km, and you can walk or bike there in just a few minutes.

The vacation home is modern, fully equipped, and has two terraces. One wonderfully large terrace with a view of the forest and a smaller one under the roof. It has an open floor plan, 4 meters high ceiling, and a large loft. The house has one bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with a single bed and several wardrobes for storage. One of the bedrooms is a loft with two single beds. Modern incineration toilet, shower, and washing machine are available. In the living room/kitchen, there's a dining table for up to 8 people, a seating area, TV, and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and electric stove with an oven. From the living room, you can step out onto the large terrace with a fantastic view of the forest. Outside, there are seating areas, dining spaces, a kitchen island, and a gas grill. From the terrace, you can reach a cozy newly-built guest cottage with a double bed and wardrobes.

Here, you can enjoy the nature, hiking trails, and of course the sea. If you play golf, there's a golf course nearby. The vacation home provides yoga mats, exercise equipment, and games, and on the property, you can find blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms when in season. Also hiking trails, beautiful cliffs, swimming spots, and other activities you can enjoy.

The Ytterby area has rocky beaches, docks, and a child-friendly sandy beach. On Stora Askö, there's a kiosk and canoe rentals, famous cliffs and an old fishing port. During season in Loftahammar, there's a golf course, paddle court, shops, restaurants, and boat traffic to nearby islands. Loftahammar is close to Västervik and Vimmerby, where the famous Astrid Lindgren's World is located.
