The cottage consists of a kitchen and a bedroom at the end of an old barn row. In front of the house the meadow slopes down to the water, approximately 60 meters away. There is a small beach and a bathing jetty that is shared with the host couple, Karin and Hasse, who live in the main building further up the slope.
The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. Cramped but functional. The kitchen is fully equipped, except for a dishwasher. In the hallway there is a bathroom with a shower, sink and a dry toilet.
It is possible to borrow the wood-fired sauna by the lake and a boat or canoe.
Sveden is located on the outskirts of Östhammar, about a 20-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride to the center (1.5 km), yet secluded and nestled in greenery.

We had a great stay at the "stuga". we really appreciated being able to borrow the boat for several days of fishing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need. A very peaceful and calming place for those looking to get away.
